What You Need to Know

Group Leaders:

You are responsible for sharing information and details to the group.  All volunteers are required to view a short training video and registering via a digital waiver. These resources will be provided to the group leader in a confirmation email.

Prepare your group!

Upon arriving, all volunteers will check in to the Visitor Center and sign-in with a Krohn staff member.  The conservatory is usually 10-15 degrees warmer than outside temperatures. Volunteers are advised to bring a reusable water bottle and wear comfortable, lightweight clothes and shoes.

Designated and suggested parking areas are available along Eden Park Drive or along Cliff View Drive. It is recommended for volunteers park along Cliff Drive, just down the hill from the overlook and walk through the picnic area to get to Krohn Conservatory. Maps and google link of these areas is provided upon registration. Parking during any time of the Butterfly Show is limited and challenging! It is strongly recommended to car pool if possible.

Group Recognition!

We encourage groups to wear company or organization logo and brandned attire. You will be asked to provide a logo for signage that will be posted throughout facility the day you support the show!

Commitment Agreement

Cincinnati Parks is asking for your partnership in an annual event that depends upon the support of volunteers. Corporate and group partners will commit to thorough communication and participation with the event.

Digital liability waiver & registration is required and will be submitted prior to the project by the determined deadline. All participants must register via the digital waiver before participating in any volunteer work. Project assignments will be determined by number of anticipated volunteers.

Cincinnati Parks will work to schedule your group at a time that is suitable for your corporation and meets your preference. However, due to a variety of logistics and circumstances, we request and appreciate flexibility from our partners. This agreement does not guarantee your group a day.

The group has permission from its corporation to sign this agreement, the volunteer waiver, and participate in a volunteer project.

Cincinnati Parks reserves the right to cancel a project or add, change or alter scope of work depending on but not limited to change in volunteer numbers, staffing levels, unexpected needs or repairs, available resources, changes in funding and the weather.

By checking the 'I agree' box, the project coordinator and any fellow team members are acknowledging agreement with all items noted above.

Almost done. Where should we send the confirmation?
