Join us during our Holiday Show, 'A Spider's Gift' for a series of game nights. Games will be proctored so you can spend less time learning the rules and more time playing and having fun!
Players can arrive early to have time to enjoy our Holiday Show in all its splendor. All game players must arrive by game time of 6 pm. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the ability for late arrivals to play, and no refunds will be given under that circumstance.
About the Show
A Spider's Gift
This holiday the elves are taking the year off, so we invited some friendly spiders to keep warm in Krohn Conservatory for the holiday season! Can you find our special guests? Follow their magical silver webs and discover them hiding in the trees.
Our dazzling display is inspired by the Ukrainian Christmas Spider folktale, which says that spiders bring good fortune, and we couldn’t agree more! Join the fun and celebrate these amazing creatures while learning about how they are wonderful helpers in the home and garden.
The Games

“Just a little further, a bit higher, bro…” The cheetah gives the penguin a boost over the gate, while a confused wolf dashes past. “Look out, someone’s coming!” Everyone freezes. After a moment of silence, a sloth calls from a tree: “All clear, move out!” The animals have secretly snuck out of the zoo at night—and now they’re trying to find their way back. Help them return before the keepers notice!
The goal of the game is to help the animals and guide them safely back into their home. Players explore parts of the darkened zoo to discover the best routes home. Each round, players draft tiles and place them on their boards, triggering special actions and building a path back for their animals. Every animal has its own unique way of moving and scoring points, making each game a new adventure!
1-4 players, 30 minutes average playing time, ages 10+

Adventure, intrigue, and flowers! Botany is a strategy board game where you take on the role of a Victorian Era flower hunter as you explore the world to gather fortune and fame and be named the Royal Botanist. In Botany, each player takes on the role of a character whose abilities will shape the way they play the game. Will you focus on exploring the globe in search of the most valuable specimens? Will you make quick and efficient trips to gather reputation quickly and build your estate?
Each player begins the game with a set of randomized goals that they then use to plot their path to victory. When players set out from their estate, they have access only to the coins they can carry with them. They can use these coins to traverse the globe and gain crew members and items to improve their odds of surviving the unknown, enhance their abilities, and increase the efficiency with which they traverse the map. However, there is danger in spending too freely, and players must ensure they have enough wealth on hand to return to England with their specimens intact.
Turns in Botany are streamlined in order to minimize downtime and keep players engaged. Players will move around the map, build their character, and experience the story of their rise to fame, all with an eye for efficiency. Points are gained by improving the quality of your garden, retrieving live specimens from around the globe, and adding preserved flowers to your botanical press. The specimens that players hunt, the goals they focus on to achieve victory, and the events they experience create a unique feel across each game.
1-5 players, 45-90 minutes of playing time, ages 8+
