About The Event

Come for a sneak peek of our fall show, "A Healing Garden", before it's open to the public at this special Botany and Brews. Enjoy a brief presentation of the show as you sip on drinks that were inspired by it. Listen to the inspiration behind the making of the drinks and how they were crafted. Walk the showroom and enjoy the ambiance as you sip on a unique brew or specialty cocktail of your choice. 

Tickets will include entry to Krohn for this Botany and Brews event as well as 1 drink. Additional drinks may be purchased for $6 at the event.

This is a 21 and older event. No one under the age of 21 will be permitted to attend. IDs must be presented at the door to enter.

About the Show

Krohn Conservatory's fall show draws inspiration from Italy's original Padua Botanical Garden, founded in 1545 by The University of Padua - the oldest botanical garden in the world! It was primarily established to study medicinal plants, which were essential to medical treatments at that time.

  

Learn about the garden's history, role in modern medicine, and the fundamental importance of plants to human well-being and society. The design incorporates elements of classic Italian gardens, such as formal plantings of evergreens, symmetrical beds, water fountains, and a medicinal plant garden reminiscent of the ones at Orto Botanico di Padova.
